At the International Business Week in Ufa, 100,000 rubles will be raffled off among the teams of Bashkortostan's municipalities. The winners will also receive a certificate for an online course at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics.

The first day of the forum started with a Business Exerciser: Developing Territories Case Championship. The event was organized by the Small Business Development and Support Fund of the Republic of Bashkortostan, Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, National Center for Monitoring and Analysis

"This is a very symbolic day. This event opens the International Business Week in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Here we have brought together both business and business sheriffs. This kind of synergy, unification, is what the government always seeks. It is very important to hear those who make our economy better,” stated Zukhra Gordienko, Minister of Entrepreneurship and Tourism of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Twelve teams are taking part in the Case Championship. Each team consists of entrepreneurs, self-employed and business sheriffs. The final championship was preceded by municipal selections, in which 40 teams took part.

"Today we have prepared a completely new program for the participants. We will work in two key areas - tourism and the development of small business in the country's regions,” said Eliana Saitova, CEO of the Foundation for Development and Support of Small Entrepreneurship of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Ufa is hosting the International Business Week Forum on December 3 through 6. The Forum is traditionally organized by the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

The republic is rightfully viewed as a congress-rich region that attracts guests from all over the world. Ufa has become a center of international events. For two weeks in a row, it it hosting significant forums.

This year the Forum will be focusing on key prospects of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Russia in economy, export, innovation and investments during four field-specific days: December 3 - Entrepreneurship Day; December 4 - X All-Russian Legal Forum; December 5 - Yalta International Economic Forum; December 6 - International Business Week.

The Forum will feature an exhibition, a gastrofestival and a B2B negotiation area. There guests and participants will get to know about their colleagues' experience and extend their network. Besides, the event will hold business development and public administration awards.
